David de Gea has signed a one-year contract with Fiorentina, joining the Italian club on a free transfer.
The 32 Year-old goalkeeper was out of contract for a season after leaving Manchester United in the ending of 22-23 season.
Even Though he won the golden glove in the premier league that season, no one signed him due to tremendous wage.
Fiorentina announced the signing of de Gea on July 25, 2023, with the Spanish goalkeeper an option to extend the contract until June 2026.
De Gea's salary at Fiorentina is reportedly €3.5 million per year, a significant decrease from his previous salary at Manchester United.Fiorentina beat off competition from other European clubs to sign de Gea.
