The match was going to penalty shootout with goalless draw in the regular time and extra time.United won the penalty shootout for 8 goals against seven.Manchester United will face  rivals Manchester City first time in the FA Cup final.

Manchester City has a chance to win the treble in this season.but Ten Hag has assured United fans that he will try his best to prevent City from winning the FA Cup. The United coach was speaking to the media after yesterday's match. His words are as follows.

 "I can understand how Manchester United fans feel about the final. We will do everything to stop them from winning the title. We cannot do anything above 100%. We proved once this season that we can beat them. But we have to play a perfect match. Now the focus is on the upcoming matches. "We need to finish in the top four in the Premier League," Ten Hag said.

Manchester United and Manchester City have met twice in the season. City were able to win at the Etihad by six goals against three. But they defeated United City 2 goals to 1 in the match at Old Trafford.
