UEFA has introduced a new handball rule rule ahead of Euro 2021.the rule is 'Accidental handball that leads to a team-mate scoring a goal or having a goal-scoring opportunity will no longer be considered an offence'.

But there was a lot of controversy over it in the last few matches about the hand ball.In the Barcelona Inter Milan match, the referee  award Inter a penalty and Barcelona was not awarded a  penalty for similar offences.Similarly, in the match against Arsenal, Liverpool were also not given a penalty.

Manchester City also had a goal disallowed for handball yesterday against Fc Copenhagen in UCL. Pep Guardiola was asked after the game if he understood the handball rule, to which he replied: "No".

Also he added that "Inter Milan versus Barcelona last week, did you see what happened with Arsenal and Liverpool? So, no [I don't understand it]," he said.
