FC Bayern Munich have agreed a deal with Fulham FC for signing Portugal defensive midfielder João Palhinha. a deal worth €56 million which include €51 million initially and €5 million in add-ons.
He had a contract until June 2028 with Fulham. earlier, Bayern and Fulham are agreed this particular transfer. but On the summer transfer deadline day the deal collapsed as Fulham failed to find a replacement before the window shut.
Palhinha played 2 years for Fulham and scored 8 goals for them. he was the player with most tackles in the last two Premier Leagues with147 and 154 respectively.
The Portugal international has also won the best Fulham FC player in 2022-23 season. this deal is a club record sale for Fulham FC.
Bayern was looking for an replacement for Joshua Kimmich who is trying to leave the club in this summer transfer window. there are rumours Barcelona will sign him after Hansi Flick took over them.
